One of my friends at the Rocky Mountain Fiction Writers asked if I’d write a piece in favor of prologues. Given my stance on prologues, that seemed like an interesting challenge.
I talked too much about it this morning before getting taken up with kid duty.

I won’t be walking/talking today.
When I got up and got the kids going, made breakfast, and got back from making the school run, I went back to bed. Three hours later I’m just crawling back out again. I’m not exactly certain why that happened but I’m extending the “rest day” because – apparently – I needed it.
It rained all morning but we’ve now shifted over the snow line.
It’s piling up on the grass and visibility is down to a few yards.
Hot coffee and a warm wordprocessor are both in my future.
Walking and talking? Not so much.
