BaltiCon Diary: Last Day

At 3am, I’ll be heading to the airport for the long ride home. I’ve bot a layover in Chicago but I should be home by noon.

I didn’t walk/talk this morning (yet) but I did get a hotspot in the hotel lobby so I can upload the two files I’ve done.

The 26th I walked with Mildred Cady, Veronica Giguere, and Doc Coleman.

On the 27th I was alone and did a basic recap of The Con So Far.

They’re both short but for the interest of clarity and continuity, I’ll upload them as separate files attached to this post.

I think most of your success can be attributed to you being online so much. I do have to wonder, though, how much of it was getting in fairly early on PodioBooks, and having your works up there free for people to listen to and share. I remember finding you through a link from Bureau42.com – I don’t know what kind of bump you got from that. I just have to think your podcast version has really helped your placement. And, of course, most of those romance writers are working through a crappier publisher than you are (even with Ridan’s problems, they’re better than the Big Ones from what I’m reading over on KKR’s blog!).

“How far can you throw a baby?”?! ^o^

I wonder what it says about me that my first thought was, “Well, that depends. Are we in a zero-gravity situation?” LOL

Anyway, it sounds like you’re having a very, very good time! I hope that your creative batteries are getting a good recharging. I also hope you do finish the short story from the workshop, because it sounds rather intriguing…

Have a safe trip back home!

Just noticed that only the first file seems to have propagated through the RSS feed.
