The whole publishing methodology for digital books by the major publishers strikes at my nerves. I would love to get some of my favorite paperback books in digital form. Many of them I only paid $4.95 or less for (sometimes much less), and when I look for them in digital form, sometimes they are available, but mostly for prices like $9.95 or $14.95, and often even higher than that. It’s not like the publisher needs to actually deliver any physical product, and since I already own a copy of the information I find it hard to justify paying more for a digital copy than I already paid for the physical paper copy I already have.
